The Art of Understanding

The more you invest in understanding things, the more you realize you know nothing much of what you should have known. You think that focusing is the only thing that changes everything until you get stuck in no position where you have no reason to quit or progress. Sometimes, you think you are not getting enough because you didn’t give your all. That is; you didn’t work hard. But the answer is no. Not all days are brighter anyway. One day you earn, the other day you learn.

But then, you must understand something that really creates a positive impact on life. That is, not everything needs more of the effort we are investing. Slowly, you realize that for something to be valuable, it must match the input and output at the same time. Not investing much for less or less for much. The output must match the input.

In addition, you grow to the extent no motivation or support would push you when you  start to think deeply of the little things you used to do as part of your daily activities.  It’s a pleasure to understand that success is nothing apart from practicing little discipline as much as possible. When you understand more about things, you look on the other side and realize that the other side was also greener, but the viewer had different interpretations.

Moreover, you must start to invest in yourself than you invest in what you did. Amazingly, everything will start to change for you. Many get more valuable, and others won’t. Then, you start to differentiate what is necessary to work on, and what to let. That is, you develop a habit of mastering how to act, that is being major in major and minor in minor things.

By unlocking more doors through developing a critical understanding, you understand the assignment that you can have more than you got because you can become more than you are. Simply, for things to change you must change and for things to get better, you must get better first. Because it is not what happens that determines the future but what you do to what happens that determines the future. As the direction is what determines the destination, all you got to do is to make a little change to have a grateful destiny.

Moreover, people either survive in the jungle or exist in the zoo and only few recognize the significance, we must be aware. Be aware of everything that surrounds us, be aware of friends, families, mates and passengers. We must be aware of what we become in pursuing what we need. Don’t ever be obsessed with things that you lose your sense of reason that cost you happiness, peace, friendship and everlasting things. By being cautious, this prevents future regrets since the cost of repair can be too high and regrets be tight.

You mostly learn after the consequences, you evolve by learning, but the target is not to learn but to embrace the sparks that can be created from a few disciplines that are repeated daily and sustained to keep our hearts and mind away from regrets.

Be aware of everything. Be better that nothing surprises you, reduce expectations and create room for adaptation.  Be aware of the little steps, be aware of the little ideas, be aware of the little failures, be aware of the little success and finally be aware of the person you are becoming. Not mostly what you can achieve, but what you become makes a difference. Practice being visionary of the human you are becoming from whatever you are giving space, time and value.

No matter how you read and understand things, you won’t ever change things you don’t have control over. No matter how brighter the day is, you can’t skip the night. No matter how the night is you can’t skip the day. Therefore, it is a must to develop a sense of calmness over things you can’t control and lead the life that you control.
